We encourage open discussion and aren’t bothered by colorful language. That said, this isn’t the Wild West. Here’s what will get your comment removed—and possibly get you banned:
What’s Not Allowed
Illegal Content
- Threats of violence or harm.
- Doxxing or sharing others’ private information.
- Content that violates copyright or intellectual property.
- Anything that would get you a visit from law enforcement.
- No WikiLeaks kind of shit. Go put it on WikiLeaks.
Harmful or Immoral Content
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks against individuals
- Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, orientation, etc.
- Sexualized content involving minors; Because if you are into that then FUCK YOU! and GO AWAY!
- Encouraging self-harm or dangerous activities. “Go Fuck Yourself, Libtard!” is OK.
- Scams or fraud. Seriously. Don’t be a dick loser on my site. I’ll report any scammy shit directly to the authorities. Go ruin grandpa’s life somewhere else.
Irrelevant Content
- Spam of any kind. I fucking HATE spam. If you do it here I’ll hunt you down and beat you with a sack-of-apples;
- Self-promotion unrelated to the discussion. You’re not that cool. you’re just a bloviating idiot like the rest of us.
- Comments that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. That’s considered spam. See “sack-of-apples” above.
- Bot-generated garbage.
- Link farming. See “sack-of-apples” above.
What’s Fine
- Strong opinions, even unpopular ones.
- Profanity (within reason—don’t be gratuitous about it).
- Disagreement and debate.
- Calling out bad ideas.
- If Democrats want to come on here and say stupid, wrong shit, that’s fine. Ya’ll do it everywhere else so I don’t know why it should be different here. Keep in mind though that this is NOT BLUE SKY! We WILL ROAST YOU here; but I think it is important to keep historical documentation about how stupid y’all are, so come-ahead!
Moderation
Comments that violate this policy will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned. We reserve the right to remove any comment for any reason, but we’re not looking for excuses—just trying to keep the conversation productive.
